Now a little about us.

We live in Iowa, however neither one of us are native to Iowa.  Between us we have 6 wonderful kids. 5 boys and 1 girl. We also have 3 grandkids ranging from 15 down to a few months with a new one to come in February.

Hobbies

We both enjoy the out doors, whether it be hunting, fishing or just walking in the woods, this is our passion.  Watching wildlife and learning their patterns is a great joy.  Will tends to enjoy big game hunting as his primary while Belinda is very passionate about turkey.

Our Hunts

We generally hunt in Iowa for deer. We have also attempted a hog hunt in Southern Missouri which ended up being a canned hunt so we graciously declined the hunt. We hunted antelope in Wyoming while our son hunted prairie dogs on a ranchers ranch of more than 17000 acres. We all had a great time. It was a great success, we both filled our tags in a very short time. With a muzzle loader at that.  Belinda shot a 153 3/4 11 point Iowa buck a couple seasons ago. He placed 4th in the state for muzzy. Will shot a 1300 lb buffalo with a muzzle loader, one shot through the ear and he was down for the count.

Hunting Goals

Our hunting goals still consist of hunting a wild boar. Will wants to hunt one with a knife, while I am thinking a rifle or muzzle loader will do the trick for my own personal rush. We would like to hunt black bear in Minnesota as well as Grizzly in the mountains. A trip back to Wyoming would be nice to hunt Elk and or moose.

Fishing

We both love to fish, whether it be for cats on the river or bass in a local pond or lake. We have a pond that we go to in the spring that produces some very large bluegills. We always have a nice relaxing time, and always fill our basket with fish. He says he can out fish me but has yet to prove it. hehehe.

This guy didn't care that we were there. No we didn't shoot him with a gun, just a camera.

This was my first year hunting turkey.

Chase is a little over 2, a very busy boy, loves to mess with the computer... I think we have a genius on our hands.

I already told ya all that pond produces some huge bluegills, and here is proof.

I think this bass was just shy of 6lbs.

I caught 2 bass on 1 lure. Not monsters, but they felt like it on my ultra light zebco
